Seventy-five percent of California rangeland is now rated in very poor condition as dry autumn further parches the states pastures. The California Farm Bureau Federation says ranchers hope rain starts to fall soon. Ranchers in seven California counties so far have qualified for federal aid to buy, feed for their animals.
