Snowboarder Killed In Avalanche

The search for a missing snowboarder that had been trapped in an avalanche near Lake Tahoe region´s Mt. Rose has ended in tragedy.
The Washoe County Sheriff´s Department now confirms the man was found dead yesterday evening.
Mount Rose ski resort spokesman Murray Blaney says the avalanche was triggered Sunday afternoon after three snowboarders entered an out-of-bounds area known as the Chute just to the east of the resort. Two of the snowboarders made it back the lodge to report their friend was missing.
The dead man´s identity was being withheld pending the notification of his next of kin.
