Shot Modesto Robber Identified

Modesto police have identified the robber who was shot and killed Monday when he tied to hold up a sports card trading store in the downtown.
Police say 22-year-old Empire resident Manuel Quijas was wearing a ski mask and armed with a semi-automatic hand gun and held up the store´s owner who pulled out his own gun and fired two shots.
The robber stumbled out of the store and collapsed on the sidewalk. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
