Special Prosecution of Rapes to Continue

Tuolumne County District Attorney Donald Segerstrom will apply for more funding, to keep the so-called
“Vertical Prosecution” unit going. The special technique involves the prosecutor in the investigation of cases involving adults who exploit teens sexually. It´s
been in place here for the past five years. Segerstrom says it has improved the effectiveness of prosecutions considerably.
