Power Plant Too Little, Too Late

A mothballed P-G-and-E power plant in Kern County won´t be on-line in time to help the state avert
rolling blackouts this summer. That´s despite an effort by lawmakers to approve the plant´s sale to a private company. North American Power Group says it
will take several months to get the plant operational.
