A day after thousands of absentee ballots were taken to an auditorium across the street from San Francisco´s City Hall, city officials say they´re concerned the ballots were left unguarded.
Board of Supervisors President Tom Ammiano says Director of Elections Tammy Haygood made the decision to move the absentee ballots, which was part of an emergency plan in case there was an anthrax threat.
