Preemies Dressed For Halloween
Modesto, CA — Get a glimpse of these cuties all dressed up in their first Halloween costumes.
Doctors Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Modesto wanted to make sure these preemies got to celebrate in style. Their costumes were all handmade by Keri-Lyn Stank, RN, and the NICU night shift nurses. Prematurely-born babies or those with health issues are provided with care in the Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The NICU staff, including board-certified neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, lactation consultants, ultrasonographers, dieticians, and social workers, ensures a compassionate and efficient environment for these babies, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
KKBN’s afternoon show host, Mark Corona, also got into the spirit with this rocking costume. The baby costumes were given these titles by the hospital staff:
- I Am Batman
- Strawberry Fields Forever
- Peanut Butter Chunky
- Baby Yoda
- Cow Wow
- Sweet Like Pan Dulce
- Lady Bug Baby
- Rock Harder (KKBN Mark Corona)
