Winter Storm Warning Issued For Sierra Nevada

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada from Friday 5 PM through Saturday 5 PM.
Snow levels will begin around 4500 feet before lowering to 3000 feet on Saturday.
Light snow accumulations are possible from 3000 through 3500 feet. Four to eight inches of snow is likely above 4000 through 5000 feet. One to two feet of snow is expected above 6000 feet. Two to four feet of snow could fall above 7000 feet.
Winds of twenty to forty-five mph are possible with gusts ranging from fifty to seventy-five mph over the higher ridges.
