Water Conservation No Longer Needed

Twain Harte, CA — The Tuolumne Utilities District is no longer asking customers to take emergency steps to conserve water.
“With the partnership of PG&E and T.U.D. crews, the main canal flume has been repaired and water is again flowing,” says Lisa Westbrook, T.U.D. spokesperson. “We want to thank our customers for listening to our urges to conserve water, because it really helped us get through this crisis.”
A water flume was damaged last Thursday by falling trees. As a result, water tanks were notably low for a period in Ponderosa Hills and Cedar Ridge.
