Tuolumne Supervisors To Consider Waiving Application Fees
Sonora, CA — When the Tuolumne County supervisors meet today they will consider waiving application fees for conditional use permits for vegetation removal in open space zoning districts for fire protection purposes.
Individuals wishing to remove vegetation will still be required to obtain a permit but the application fee would be eliminated.
In addition Sheriff Jim Mele will discuss the new high band radio system that has been implemented by his office.
At 1:30pm there will be a presentation on the extended producer responsibility relating to producers assuming responsibility for management of waste products.
At 2pm a presentation is scheduled on the designation of a portion of Hwy 132/120 as John Muir Highway and consideration of approving a letter of support to state agencies.
