Two Vehicle Accident Slows Mono Way Traffic

Sonora, CA — Shortly after ten o’clock this morning a two vehicle accident slowed eastbound traffic on Mono Way.
According to CHP Investigating Officer Ed Bushey 75 year old Fay Fernandez of Sonora was driving her 2005 Chevy Blazer westbound at approximately 30-35 mph on Mono Way when she made a left hand turn without slowing into the Theatre Plaza parking lot.
Her vehicle hit an eastbound 2002 PT Cruiser driven by 63 year old David Giordano of LaGrange.
Neither was seriously injured. Fernandez suffered minor cuts to her hand while Girodano suffered the same in addition to a knee bruise.
