Wal Mart Embezzlers Arrested

Sonora, CA — Two Wal Mart employees were arrested Tuesday afternoon by Sonora Police officers and charged with conspiracy, grand theft and embezzlement.
Wal Mart’s Loss Prevention Officer told police he had caught two employees, 45 year old Pam Marcia Torres from Jamestown and 44 year old Julie Elizabeth Grant of Columbia, embezzling funds totaling approximately $1,700 over a three week period from December 20 through January 9.
The two were identified by video surveillance on five occasions giving cash to each other from their respective registers. They were booked into the Tuolumne County Jail.
