Update: Blaze In Forest Meadow Area

Update at 3 p.m.: CAL Fire spokesperson Emily Kilgore reports that the fire was extinguished by some residents in the area, but that ground crews are continuing to the scene to make sure that the fire is completely out and contained.
Original post at 2:50 p.m.: Forest Meadows, CA : A continued busy day for air and ground fire crews as they are heading to another vegetation fire north of Murphys in Calavearas County. CAL Fire spokesperson Emily Kilgore reports this fire is a quarter acre in size and burning in grass along Sandalwood Drive near Canyon Ridge Court near the Forest Meadows Golf Course in the Forest Meadows community.
