Wilseyville’s Petersen Arrested On DUI Charge

San Andreas, CA — 24 year old Justin Petersen of Wilseyville was arrested by the C.H.P. early Tuesday evening and charged with driving under the influence.

Petersen was driving a 1988 Toyota eastbound on Hwy 26 at Montgomery Drive at approximately 35mph when due to his level of intoxication he allowed his vehicle to travel to the right and off the paved portion of the roadway while attempting to negotiate a natural curve in the roadway to the left.

The vehicle then struck and traveled up a steep embankment before re-entering the eastbound traffic lane and overturning. The Toyota then rolled back onto its wheels and traveled off the north side of the road.

According to the C.H.P. report Petersen suffered minor injuries and was treated at Mark Twain-St. Joseph’s Hospital.
