Jamestown Resident Injured In Single Vehicle Accident

Modesto, CA — 52 year old Connie Jo Walther of Jamestown suffered major injuries due to a single vehicle accident Tuesday morning.

Walther was eastbound near Lover´s Leap when she ran into a patch of gravel on the right shoulder, overcorrected and left the roadway. According to the Modesto Bee it took fire officials some 30 minutes to free her from her 2007 Honda Civic which ended up down a 30 foot embankment.

CHP Officer Tom Killian has described Walther´s injuries as non-life threatening. She was transported to Memorial Medical Center.
