Cherry Lake Drowning Victim Remains Unidentified

Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Office recovered the body of a Cherry Lake drowning victim Sunday.
The 24 year old Indiana resident was swimming with friends when he was lost Saturday afternoon. The Sheriff Office´s dive team responded but to no avail in location the missing swimmer.
The dive team returned Sunday and found the body in approximately 35 feet of water.
According to Lt. Dan Bressler his identity will not be released until next of kin has been notified.
