Copperopolis, Ca — 32-year-old Semida Stoddard of Angels Camp has been arrested for DUI after she drove her vehicle off Hwy 4, which in turn caused a 78 acre vegetation fire to break out near Pool Station Rd.
No structures were lost as a result of the fire, says Lisa Williams of CAL Fire. It started at 1:30pm and is now contained.
Hwy 4 has been closed down for much of the afternoon, but it has now reopened to traffic.
The CHP says that Stoddard was not injured as a result of the accident.
