Dava Marie Taylor Arrested On DUI Charge

San Andreas, CA — 20 year old Dava Marie Taylor of Sonora was arrested Saturday at 4:15am and charged with driving-under-the-influence following a single vehicle accident on Murphys Grade Rd.
Taylor was headed westbound west of Ranch Rd. at an approximate speed of 55mph. Due to her level of intoxication she lost control of her 1992 Toyota Camry and drove off the north side of the roadway.
According to the CHP the vehicle continued down a steep embankment and overturned several times. Taylor refused medical treatment at the scene. She procceded to fail a field sobriety test and was consequently arrested and placed in the Calaveras County Jail.
