T.U.D. Agrees To Help Del Oro Water Company

Sonora, Ca — The Tuolumne Utilities District Board of Directors has approved an agreement with PG&E to supply water to the Del Oro Water Company through the end of the year.
T.U.D. General Manager Pete Kampa told the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors today that the water would be drawn from the South Fork of the Stanislaus River.
Del Oro, which supplies water to the Strawberry area, has unsuccessfully been trying to drill for a new source of well water. As part of the agreement, Del Oro must come up with a long term solution to its water needs.
The agreement was approved unanimously by the T.U.D. Board of Directors.
