Turlock Resident Dies Following Saturday Diving Accident

Sonora, CA — 33 year old Arlo Roberts of Turlock died while en route to Sonora Rgional Medical Center Saturday morning following a diving accident.
Roberts, along with family and friends, were spending the day swimming at Rainbow Pools off Hwy 120.
According to Deputy Paul Tualla of the Sheriff´s Office Roberts dove approximately 30 feet into the water hitting his head on a rock.
Family members had pulled Roberts out of the water and were administering CPR when emergency crews arrived.
Cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma.
