Marijuana Eradicated Near Stanislaus River Canyon

Sonora, Ca — 3,090 marijuana plants were eradicated Wednesday from the Paper Cabin Ridge area of the Stanislaus River Canyon.
Deputy Paul Tualla with the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Office reports that the plants ranged in size from 5-8 ft. tall, with a street value of around $2,500 per plant. No suspects were located, but it appeared that individuals had been tending to the garden within the past 24 hours.
The total number of marijuana plants eradicated in Tuolumne County since July 1st is 113,113. This year´s plant count has already exceeded the 2007 total of 107,739.
