Mobility Plan Being Created For San Andreas
San Andreas, Ca — Workshops are taking place throughout San Andreas this week looking at ways reduce traffic congestion and make it easier to travel throughout town.
Calaveras Council of Governments Executive Director Tim McSorley says funding to create a San Andreas Mobility Plan is thanks to an $80,000 grant from Caltrans and $20,000 in matching funds from the CCOG.
Issues that are being addressed include where new bicycle and multi-use trails should be constructed, where the major auto and pedestrian conflicts are located and ways that the community can foster pedestrian activity.
