Sonora Man Arrested After Threatening Wife With Firearm

Sonora, CA — An unidentified 32-year-old male was arrested Monday evening by the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Office after reportedly assaulting his estranged wife and threatening her with a firearm in the 15000 block of Poco Calle in Sonora.
The husband had left the home that the wife´s home by the time deputies arrived at 10:30pm, and he was later found at a nearby residence.
The suspect´s name is not being released by the Sheriff´s Office. He was booked into Tuolumne County Jail on charges of domestic violence, threatening with a firearm, false imprisonment and making criminal threats.
