Angels Camp Woman Crashes Into Power Pole

Copperopolis, Ca — An Angels Camp woman fell asleep, and then ran her car into a power pole.
The CHP reports that 31 year old Karina Paredes was driving southbound on O´Byrnes Ferry Rd. Friday night when her vehicle drifted onto the right shoulder and sheared the poll.
The accident occurred at around 5:00pm. The driver´s 1994 Nissan proceeded to overturn. 10 PG&E customers were temporarily without power.
Paredes was transported to Sonora Regional Hospital because of moderate head injuries.
