Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — A Sonora man was arrested Wednesday night after allegedly stabbing his brother with a knife.

Just before 10pm, an assault was reported to the Sheriff´s Department near the 20420 block of North Sunshine Dr. When deputies arrived, they found Bradley Carlin standing outside with a bandage around his hand. Deputies learned during their investigation that his brother, James Carlin, attacked him with a knife for no apparent reason.

Deputies went inside the residence to look for James, and found him underneath a blanket on the couch. They arrested him without further incident. Deputies recovered a bloody knife and collected it as evidence.

The suspect was not booked at Tuolumne County Jail because of medical reasons. The case against Carlin is pending further evaluation and investigation.
