Two Escaped Debris Burns In Calaveras

San Andreas, CA — CAL FIRE is reporting two escaped debris burns have occurred so far this week in Calaveras County.
Barbara George with CAL FIRE says there hasn´t been a burn day in a while and there hasn´t been much rain.
The fires took place in Valley Springs on Quail Oaks Road and in Mountain Ranch on Steeds Way.
Both stayed on the burn pile owner´s property.
CAL FIRE cautions residents who are burning to keep piles small enough to manage and even though the grass around the pile may be green, it can still burn.
