Public Meeting On Bear Valley Village Proposal
Bear Valley, CA — A public meeting will be held this Saturday for the proposed Bear Valley Village project.
The owners of Bear Valley Mountain Resort are proposing to build a pedestrian-oriented village in place of the existing lodge.
The Alpine County Planning Department is developing an Environmental Impact Report for the project, which will be addressed at the public meeting.
The meeting will take place at 10 a.m., March 24 in the Bear Valley Lodge.
Also included in the project is a proposal to build a chair lift to the ski area from the village.
If the project is approved by regulatory agencies, construction could begin in May 2008.
