Hwy 108 FireSafe Council Announces Thursday Meeting
Sonora, CA — The Highway 108 Fire Safe Council will be hosting a public meeting Thursday evening at six o´clock at Fire Station 57 at 21720 Phoenix Lake Rd.
The purpose of the meeting is to provide residents in the Phoenix Lake, Soulsbyville and Mono Vista areas along with local fire agency officials the opportunity to discuss and consider a strategic planning link between local fire protection, emergency access and community prevention measures that will support firefighting efforts.
The program will include a feature on “Wildland Fire Prevention – Then And Now.” Attendees will also be able to view a modern U.S. Forest Service fire prevention patrol vehicle and the emergency equipment carried on board.
