Parks Report Goes To BOS On May 15

San Andreas, CA — A report advising the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors on how to meet the recreational needs of the county will be presented at the board´s May 15 meeting.
The Parks and Recreation Task Force was formed in September 2006 and has been meeting ever since. It recently completed its report and a parks and recreation plan for the county.
The report includes a recommendation to establish an interim Parks and Recreation Agency and hire a parks manager. The agency would be an interim measure until it can transition to an independent special district.
