The Mother Lode Turns Out For Tuolumne County Band Review
Sonora, CA — A packed house was on hand at Dunlavy Field at Sonora High School Wednesday evening for the 2007 Tuolumne County Band Review.
The Sheriff´s Posse Color Guard kicked off the Review promptly at six o´clock. The Curtis Creek Mustang Band initiated the musical entertainment with a rendition of the school´s fight song, Canned Heat. And then came the Tioga High School-Tenaya Elementary band with the Eye of the Tiger.
Sonora High Golden Regiment Band Director Pat Sieben hosted his final Tuolumne County Band Review. Upon the conclusion of the school year Sieben will be moving to Concordia, Kansas to take over direction of the Cloud County Junior College band program.
Other schools performing Wednesday evening included the Columbia Elementary Green Machine, the Mother Lode Adventist Junior Academy Marching Band, the Jamestown Elementary School Band, the Soulsbyville Elementary Marching Falcons, the Sonora Elementary Marching Bobcats, the Summerville High Orange Crush and, of course, the Wildcats´ Golden Regiment Marching Band.
Absolutely perfect weather graced the crowd that turned out for one of the most popular Mother Lode Round Up events of the year.
