Community Rallied In Tuesday’s Search

Arnold, CA — The community of Arnold rallied together Tuesday in the search for 87- year old Dale Smith.
The Sheriff´s Department says Smith was reported missing after last being seen in the Blue Lake Springs subdivision at around 11 a.m.
Community members and officials searched for 7 ½ hours before Smith turned up at Grizzly Station in good condition.
A report says Smith made his way up to Calaveras Big Trees State Park and an unknown citizen brought him back down to Grizzly Station.
Members of the Calaveras and Alpine Search and Rescue and a CHP helicopter were also involved.
