Jamestown Resident Jailed On Public Intoxication Charges
Sonora, CA — 26 year old Morris Pitti of Jamestown was jailed on public intoxication charges late Thursday evening at the Mother Lode Fair.
According to Sonora Police Lt. Mark Stinson, Pitti was making “inappropriate” sexually oriented comments to young girls. One 15 year old told officers that Pitti attempted to converse with her as she exited a restroom.
Several parents made contact with officers who then located Pitti. Stinson adds that Pitti became quite agitated and proceeded to threaten the officers. He was subsequently arrested and booked into the County Jail.
One officer noted that Pitti was on parole for domestic violence.
