Pinecrest Resident Arrested At Mother Lode Fair On Numerous Charges
Sonora, CA — 28 year old David Barber of Pinecrest was arrested just before eleven o´clock Saturday evening at the Mother Lode Fair.
According to Sonora Police Lt. Mark Stinson, Barber was driving a black jeep that hit a parked vehicle. Barber told witnesses he would knife them if they reported the incident to authorities.
The witnesses immediately contacted the security guard at the West Gate. Barber then headed toward the witnesses´ car only to have them drive to the Main Gate and report the incident and the threat to police officers.
Barber was arrested in the Fairgrounds and charged with hit-and-run, driving under the influence and criminal threats.
