Murphys Resident Injured In Sunday Evening Accident

Sonora, CA — 40 year old Sherri Candau of Murphys was lifeflighted to Doctors Medical Hospital in Modesto with unknown injuries following a three vehicle accident on Hwy 4 at Meadowmont Way Sunday evening at 6:05.
According to the CHP report, Candau was in the left turn lane of Hwy 4 when she turned directly into the path of a westbound vehicle driven by 50 year old David Scott of Rio Linda. Scott´s car then struck a vehicle driven by 37 year old Sherrene Haas of Arnold.
Outside of Candau, no other injuries were reported.
