Work To Make Intersection Safe Begins Tuesday

Sponsored by:

Sonora, Ca– The California Department of Transportation is advising motorists that they can expect 20 minute delays on State Route 120 from Alkali Creek to the east State Route 108 junction in Tuolumne County beginning Tuesday, September 4th.

Crews will be doing electrical work to prepare for the installation of traffic signals at the intersection of State Route 120 and O´Byrnes Ferry Road. Although one-way traffic control will be in place, Caltrans says alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

The work will continue through Friday, September 7th. The contractor for the $310,500 project is Richard A. Heaps Electrical of Sacramento.
