Ceres Man Seriously Injured In Tulloch Lake Boating Accident
Tulloch Lake, CA — 21 year old Aaron McClure of Ceres never dreamed he would be spending the early days of September in a hospital bed, but he is.
McClure, along with his fiance and family members, was wrapping up a Labor Day weekend at Tulloch Lake Monday. He was in an intertube that was hit by a personal watercraft. The driver then left the scene and headed for the north shore. He is described as 30-35 years old with light brown hair with two children. The watercraft was either silver or gold.
According to the Modesto Bee, McClure has undergone bone grafting and has had a titanium rod inserted into his right leg. He suffered a fractured spine, pelvis and femur. Another occupant in the intertube, Kirk Dodd, suffered a serious arm injury.
Lt. Dan Bressler says deputies are investigating, but they will undoubtedly need the public´s help in making contact with the suspect. Should you have any information regarding this case please contact the Sheriff´s Department at (209) 533-5815.
