Cash Donations Needed For Southern California Residents
Sonora, CA — According to Carol Mutzner of the Sacramento-Sierra Chapter of the American Red Cross, cash is the best way to help those who have been forced to evacuate their homes due to the southern California fires.
The funds can then be used to purchase the appropriate items that can best meet the needs of the disenfranchised.
Checks can be sent to the Sacramento-Sierra Chapter, American Red Cross, P.O. Box 81, Sonora, CA 95370. On the memo line designate the funds for CALIFORNIA FIRES.
Sacramento-Sierra Chapter Director of Marketing Courtney Miller in Sacramento says relatives concerned about family or friends can click American Red Cross to stay in contact with those who have registered.
Mutzner adds that approximately 60 volunteers from the Sacramento-Sierra Chapter are either in or are headed for southern California.
