Students Learn About Agriculture
Angels Camp, CA — Fifth and sixth grade students from all over Calaveras County have a good grasp of everything agriculture thanks to the Farm Bureau´s annual Ag Day.
This year´s event was held last week at the fairgrounds.
Farm Bureau members and others in the agriculture community set up exhibits and gave presentations to teach the students about agriculture and the role it plays in their lives.
High school age Future Farmers of America members were on hand as tour guides.
Students learned about logging, raising alpacas, miniature horses and cattle. There were also horseshoers and beekeepers.
