Assault In Angels Camp

Angels Camp, CA — Walter Robinson of Vallecito is in Calaveras County Jail on $73,000 bail after allegedly driving his vehicle into another person´s car as they stood nearby.
The incident took place at the New Melones Mini Storage in Angels Camp Monday.
Apparently there was a verbal altercation and Robinson used his car to hit the car of Tacy Messersmith of Sparks, Nevada and Russel Bacom of Angels Camp. The two were standing nearby.
There was moderate damage to both vehicles.
Robinson was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.
