Calaveras Loses Yet Another Transportation Director

San Andreas, CA — For the 2nd time this year the director of Calaveras County´s regional transportation agency has stepped down.

Brittany Odermann was named interim executive director of the Calaveras Council of Governments in April after the resignation of George Dondero. Dondero went to work in Santa Cruz.

At the time, Odermann had been with the council as a planner for a little under a year.

Now, Odermann says its time to move on and is taking a Planner II position in Santa Barbara.

Other than career advancement, her leaving has a little bit to do with Dondero´s resignation.

Odermann says Dondero was a mentor and she was looking forward to learning a lot more from him when he left.

Consultant Scott Maas has been named the council´s interim director.

Odermann´s last day will be June 30. Maas begins July 3.
