Valley Springs Sweep Nets Marijuana; 5 Arrested

The Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department conducted another enforcement sweep Tuesday.
The sweep was in the Valley Springs area, and deputies made five arrests.
One man was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana.
One woman was arrested for an outstanding warrant and possession of marijuana.
And another man was arrested for DWI and possession of about two pounds of marijuana.
One court order violation and one outstanding warrant rounded out the five arrestees.
Also, a marijuana growing operation was discovered and seized by authorities.
Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department is not releasing names or other details yet, due to the continuing investigations.
