CalSTRS Talks Begin Today

State Controller Steve Westly wants the California State Teachers´ Retirement System to help pressure corporations to link their executives´ compensation to the companies´ long-term performance. Westly plans to ask CalSTRS today to take up the issue. He says it´s wrong to have huge executive salaries at companies that are performing poorly.
