Arrest Made in Madera County Arson

Police in Madera County have arrested a 16 year old Fairmead boy on suspicion of starting a string of fires that burned 485 acres Wednesday.
About 50 firefighters worked for five hours to extinguish eight separate blazes that threatened homes and livestock. No injuries were reported.
Deputies are seeking additional suspects.
