California Highway Patrol investigators Continue to try to figure out what happened to a 35-year-old Copperopolis man found unconscious in a field near Little John Road Wednesday morning – his wrecked Ford Probe on its side nearby. CHP and emergency personnel were called to the scene near the Copper Cove development to find Kenneth Scott was taken by helicopter to a Sacramento hospital in critical condition. Officers believe the crash took place sometime late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning. Authorites have yet to determine if Scott was indeed driving the car.
