Chicks, Celine Sing At Super Bowl
Grammy-winner Celine Dion has been chosen to perform at the 37th Super Bowl taking place this month in San Diego.
The NFL announced Thursday it has chosen the acclaimed performer to sing “God Bless America” prior to the game. Dion will sing during the pre-game show, before country music trio the Dixie Chicks perform the National Anthem. This will mark the first time that “God Bless America” has been performed at the Super Bowl.
Previously, artists have sung “America the Beautiful” prior to the big game. The Super Bowl is scheduled to be held on January 26th at Qualcomm Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on AM 1450 KVML.
