Fatal Fire Update

Sonora, CA– The cause of a house fire today in Sonora was most likely due to an electrical malfunction. That’s according to Sgt. Jeff Wilson from the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire at this two story brick home on the 12000 block of Mountain View Road took the lives of 90-year-old Viola Hootman and 92-year-old Armando Puccinelli early this morning.
The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation is continuing.
