Fire Destroys Mobile Home

Sonora, CA — A single wide mobile home was destroyed early Monday morning.
The fire broke out just before 5AM in a single wide mobile home in a remote location off Merrill Road in Groveland. Craig Hart of the CDF-Tuolumne County Fire District says an unidentified male was life-flighted from the scene after suffering burns while trying to extinguish the fire with a garden hose.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation.
