Former Sonora Mayor Dies
Eugene, OR — Former Sonora Mayor Claude Addison has died of complications of diabetes at his home in Eugene, Oregon … he was 72.
While on the city council, Addison served as mayor from 1994-1996. Overall Addison spent eight years on the city council from 1992 to 2000. Addison´s public service career also included five years on the Sonora Planning Commission.
From a business perspective, the Honolulu native established an affiliate of First Associated Securities Group, Inc., Addison and Associates, in Sonora in 1984. 16 years later he retired.
Before making his move to Eugene, Addison made his home in Wisconsin. He is survived by four children.
