Tuolumne, CA — CAL Fire reports that there will be prescribed burning on the Mt. Havalia Vegetation Management Project site, adjacent to the community of Tuolumne.
The goal is to maintain and improve the Mt. Havalia Fuel Break along the top of the North Fork Tuolumne River Canyon. Smoke will be visible in the surrounding area on Thursday. The burn will involve five acres of mastication material.
It will take place on Thursday from 9 am – 5 pm
