Tuolumne CRC is the evacuation center. For those who are evacuated, you may keep your small animals (dogs, cats). 18241 Bay Ave, Tuolumne, CA 95379
The blaze broke out on Sunday afternoon along Highway 108 near Mill Villa Road. Deputies will be patrolling the areas under evacuation throughout the day as personnel continue to fight the Fire. The public is asked to avoid the area as emergency responders are in the area working.
Original post at 8 a.m.: Sonora, CA—CAL FIRE reports that the acreage is holding this morning while the containment has climbed.
The blaze broke out on Sunday afternoon along Highway 108 near Mill Villa Road. CAL FIRE reports that overnight, crews worked towards increasing containment. Continued efforts today will widen and strengthen the fire’s perimeter.
